How to get there?

Monemvasia is accessible by KTEL buses from Sparta and Athens. To drive from Athens, take the National Road via Corinth and Tripolis, then follow signs to Sparti, Gythio, and Monemvasia (about 300 km). There is no airport in Monemvasia; the closest is Athens International Airport, which operates year-round with domestic and international flights. From Athens, visitors can reach Monemvasia by bus or rental car.
