Day 1: Arrival in Athens
Upon your arrival in Athens, our assistant will meet you at the airport. Your personal driver will then transfer you to your hotel for check-in. After some rest, you will embark on a guided food tour to sample traditional Athenian delicacies, introducing you immediately to the flavors of Greece.

Day 2: Athens & Corinth – Tracing Paul’s Path
After breakfast, begin a full-day guided tour dedicated to both ancient history and the footsteps of St. Paul. First, explore the highlights of Athens: the Acropolis with its Parthenon, Propylaea, and Erechtheion. Next, continue to the ancient Agora, once the center of civic life, where Paul engaged with the Athenians. Then, walk up Mars Hill (Areopagus), the site where Paul delivered his famous sermon about the “unknown God” (Acts 17:16-34).

In the afternoon, your journey takes you westward to Corinth, where Paul lived and ministered for a year and a half (Acts 18:1-18). There, visit the Archaeological Museum, the marketplace, and the Temple ruins. You will also stand at the Bema, where Paul addressed the Corinthians, and reflect on his letters that still inspire today. Finally, return to Athens for overnight.

Day 3: Athens – Delphi – Meteora
This morning, depart for Delphi, once considered the very center of the ancient world. Here you will explore the sanctuary of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, and the impressive theater. Afterwards, continue your journey north toward Meteora. In the evening, arrive and settle into your hotel, surrounded by dramatic rock formations. Overnight in Meteora.

Day 4: Meteora – Berea – Vergina – Thessaloniki
Begin your day by visiting Meteora’s breathtaking monasteries, spiritual havens founded in the 14th century when monks sought refuge in the cliffs. Later, continue your biblical journey with a stop in Berea (Veria), where Paul preached to the local Jewish community in 54 AD (Acts 17:10-15). Here, you will see St. Paul’s Bema, a monument marking the place of his sermons.

Afterwards, travel to Vergina, the site of the royal tombs of Macedonian kings. Finally, drive onward to Thessaloniki, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Philippi – Kavala – Thessaloniki
Today your travels take you eastward to Philippi, the first European city where Paul preached the Gospel (Acts 16:11-40). While there, visit the Baptistery of Lydia, named after the first Christian convert in Europe. You will also explore the ruins of the marketplace, the theater, and the traditional site of Paul and Silas’s imprisonment.

Continue to Kavala (ancient Neapolis), the port where Paul first set foot in Europe. After reflecting on the significance of these visits, return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Thessaloniki – In the Footsteps of Paul
This morning, explore Thessaloniki, another important city visited by the Apostle Paul (Acts 17:1-9). You will begin with the ancient Agora, where Paul reasoned with the Jews, before continuing to the House of Jason, where he stayed during his ministry.

In addition, visit the Basilica of St. Demetrius, dedicated to the city’s patron saint, and admire the Galerius Arch on the Via Egnatia, one of the great Roman roads of antiquity. Finally, conclude your biblical journey with dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.

Day 7: Thessaloniki – Departure Day
After breakfast, your private driver will transfer you to Thessaloniki International Airport for your departure. Your 7-day Greek adventure concludes with unforgettable memories of Greece’s most beautiful destinations.
