Panathenaic Stadium

Your tour starts at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. We’ll make a short stop for photos and to learn about its history.

Prime Minister’s Residence

Next, we pass the Prime Minister’s Residence, formerly the Royal Palace. It’s guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform.

Historical Sights

We continue to see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament, and the Unknown Soldier Memorial. Then, we pass the Academy, University, and National Library before reaching Constitution Square (Syntagma).

Acropolis

Our next stop is the Acropolis. We’ll visit the architectural masterpieces of Athens’ Golden Age, including the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion. Finally, we’ll see the iconic Parthenon, a symbol of harmony between material and spirit.

Acropolis Museum

The tour continues at the Acropolis Museum, where you can admire classical-era wonders and learn more about ancient Greek culture.

  2. Clients staying at the coast will be transferred back with the Cape Sounion Tour bus.
