Our unforgettable journey begins as we set sail from the port of Corfu aboard the luxurious ZANADU. As we head south, you will enjoy stunning views of the island’s southern coast. First, we pass by Garitsa Bay, then catch a glimpse of the historic Mon Repos Palace, the birthplace of Prince Philip of England. We also sail past the iconic Pontikonisi, or “Mouse Island,” and the charming tourist areas of Perama and Benitses. Continuing along, we reach the village of Gastouri, home to the grand Palace of Empress Elizabeth of Austria. Our journey takes us to the southernmost tip of Corfu, Asprokavos, where the adventure truly begins.

Approaching the Canal Between Corfu and Paxi

As we approach the canal separating Corfu from Paxi, prepare to be awestruck. The view of the narrow canal between Paxi and the island of Saint Nicholas is one of the most picturesque scenes in the Ionian Sea. According to Greek mythology, the god Neptune struck the southern tip of Corfu with his trident, splitting the island into two parts and creating the island of Paxi as a romantic retreat for his beloved Amphitrite.

Antipaxi – The Caribbean of the Ionian Sea

Our first destination is the enchanting island of Antipaxi. Known for its crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches, Antipaxi’s beauty rivals the Caribbean. We will dock at one of its stunning beaches, giving you 1 hour and 20 minutes of free time to swim, relax, and take in the idyllic surroundings.

Next Stop: The Majestic Blue Caves

After experiencing Antipaxi, we sail towards our next breathtaking destination: the Blue Caves. These sea caves, surrounded by vertical cliffs, are a sight to behold. As our ship enters the caves, you’ll be mesmerized by the shimmering colors of the water, ranging from light blue to turquoise and emerald. This natural wonder will surely leave a lasting impression.

Exploring the Island of Paxi

Next, we head for the island of Paxi, where you will have 2 hours of free time. Stroll through the narrow alleys, enjoy a coffee overlooking the picturesque island of Saint Nicholas, or simply relax by the romantic canal. For those looking to explore further, we offer an optional bus tour around the island. Our guide will take you to picturesque spots, including Logos Bay with its small port and cozy houses, and Lakka, the northernmost point of the island, known for its deep sandy gulf.
