Day 1 – Arrival in Athens
Upon your arrival in Athens, you’ll be greeted by our friendly welcome representative, who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. Take the evening to explore the vibrant heart of Athens, perhaps enjoying a leisurely stroll through the historic neighborhoods of Thissio or Psirri. Treat yourself to a delicious dinner in a traditional tavern, soaking in the local ambiance.
Day 2 – Athens Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
Start your day with a classic Athens experience—our expertly curated half-day sightseeing tour. Perfect for first-time visitors, this tour highlights Athens’ most iconic landmarks, including the National Library, the Greek Parliament, and the awe-inspiring Acropolis. After the tour, spend your afternoon at leisure. You may want to head towards the stunning Vouliagmeni coast, part of the Greek Riviera, for a refreshing sea breeze and scenic views.
Day 3 – Arrival in Naxos
In the morning, you’ll be transferred from your Athens hotel to the port for your ferry to Naxos, the largest island in the Cyclades. As you approach the island, keep an eye out for the majestic Portara—Naxos’ most famous landmark. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Later, begin your exploration of Naxos’ charming main town, Chora, at your own pace.
Days 4 & 5 – Explore Naxos
Naxos offers a variety of experiences, from idyllic beaches to traditional village life. Spend your days beach-hopping along some of the island’s most beautiful shores, such as Plaka, Agios Prokopios, and Agia Anna. For a taste of Naxos’ authentic character, visit the picturesque villages of Apiranthos and Chalki, where you can sample local dishes in cozy taverns. Don’t miss a visit to the Venetian Castle in Kastro, where you can learn about the island’s rich history. A must-see natural wonder is the cedar forest near Alyko beach—a protected area with stunning landscapes and an open-air art gallery showcasing works by street artists.
Day 6 – Arrival in Santorini
Today, you’ll be transferred from your hotel to the port for your ferry to the world-famous island of Santorini. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel where you can begin your exploration of this iconic destination. If you’re staying in Fira, take a stroll around the central square and discover a quaint tavern where you can try Santorini’s signature appetizers—fava and tomatokeftedes.
Day 7 – Experience Santorini
With so much to see and do in Santorini, your day will be filled with choices. You could spend your time relaxing on the island’s famous beaches, such as Vlychada, Red Beach, and Black Beach, all shaped by volcanic eruptions. History buffs will enjoy visiting the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri and its museum, which showcases Minoan frescoes. For a quintessential Santorini experience, head to Oia to watch the breathtaking sunset over the caldera. Alternatively, you may choose to take a boat trip to Nea Kameni, an uninhabited volcanic i7sland with natural hot springs. For a truly memorable experience, consider a sunset sailing tour that includes a delicious dinner on board and visits to many of these iconic spots.
Day 8 – Arrival in Crete (Heraklion)
After a leisurely morning in Santorini, you’ll board a ferry to Crete. Upon arrival in Heraklion, pick up your rental car and head to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
Day 9 – Travel to Chania
With your rental car at your disposal, embark on a scenic journey across Crete. Begin your day with a visit to the ancient Palace of Knossos, an archaeological wonder just outside Heraklion. In the afternoon, drive west to Chania, stopping along the way to explore the charming town of Rethymno. Once in Chania, enjoy a traditional Cretan dinner in the Venetian harbor, with the iconic lighthouse setting the perfect backdrop.
Days 10 & 11 &12 – Discover Western Crete
Western Crete is a paradise for adventurers and nature lovers. Explore the diverse landscapes of this region, from the exotic Preveli beach to the rugged Samaria Gorge, where you might catch a glimpse of the rare Kri-kri, the endangered Cretan goat. Discover the traditional villages of Sfakia and Kournas, swim in the crystal-clear waters of Elafonisi, and take a boat ride to the stunning Balos Lagoon and the island of Gramvousa. Along the way, indulge in Cretan culinary delights, such as stamnagathi (wild greens), kalitsounia (sweet pastries), and dakos (a traditional barley salad). These authentic dishes reflect the island’s unique blend of Mediterranean and Oriental flavors.
Day 13 – Return to Athens
On your final day in Crete, return your rental car at Chania airport before catching your flight back to Athens. Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you to your Athens hotel for your last night in Greece. If time allows, take a stroll down Ermou Street for some last-minute shopping or enjoy a farewell dinner in one of Athens’ vibrant neighborhoods.
Day 14 – Departure from Athens
After a memorable Greek adventure, we will transfer you from your hotel to Athens International Airport for your departure flight.
