Sikinos in Greece is a secluded island of the Cyclades, situated between Folegandros and Ios. Chora is the capital of the island, builted on the slopes of a hill, boasts a beautiful setting and a breathtaking view of the Aegean sea. Chora of Siknos a great sample of traditional Cycladic architecture, as it has whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and narrow alleys. Most of the island’s hotels are located in the area around Sikinos port, where there are many shops and taverns as well. Beaches are rather secluded and can be reached either on foot or by bus. Some of the best seashores to visit are Agios Georgios and Dialiskari. Places to visit in Sikinos, the old Monastery of Episkopi and the Folklore Museum are musts!
