Day 1 – Arrival in Athens: Welcome to Greece

Welcome to Athens, the historic capital of Greece and the starting point of your Peloponnesian adventure.

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take some time to settle in before enjoying a welcome dinner in the atmospheric Plaka district, located beneath the illuminated Acropolis.

Stroll through the charming narrow streets, enjoy traditional Greek cuisine, and begin your journey surrounded by the history and hospitality of Athens.

Day 2 – The Golden Age of Athens: Acropolis & Ancient Wonders

Begin your exploration of Athens with a guided visit to the iconic Acropolis, the symbol of classical Greece and one of the world’s most important archaeological sites.

Discover the magnificent Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the ancient monuments that shaped Western civilization. Continue to the Acropolis Museum, where exceptional artifacts from the Acropolis are displayed in a modern architectural masterpiece.

Later, explore the Ancient Agora, once the heart of political, commercial, and social life in ancient Athens.

The afternoon is free to enjoy Athens at your own pace — explore local neighborhoods, visit museums, or relax at a café overlooking the city.

Day 3 – Corinth, Acrocorinth & Nafplio: Gateway to the Peloponnese

Depart Athens and begin your journey into the Peloponnese.

Your first stop is the famous Corinth Canal, where you will enjoy a photo opportunity at this impressive engineering landmark connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas.

Continue to Ancient Corinth, one of the most powerful cities of the ancient world. Explore its archaeological remains, including the Temple of Apollo and the Roman-era forum.

Above the ancient city stands Acrocorinth Fortress, the largest castle in southern Greece, offering spectacular views across the Peloponnesian landscape.

Continue to Nafplio, Greece’s first capital after independence, and discover its elegant Old Town with its neoclassical buildings, charming streets, and waterfront promenade.

Day 4 – Mycenae & Epidaurus: The World of Ancient Kings and Theatre

Today you will discover two of the greatest treasures of ancient Greece.

Visit Mycenae, the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon and one of the most important centers of the Mycenaean civilization. Explore the impressive Lion Gate, the royal burial circles, and the Treasury of Atreus, a remarkable vaulted tomb built more than 3,000 years ago.

Continue to the Sanctuary of Epidaurus, famous for its extraordinary ancient theatre, renowned for its perfect acoustics and still used today for performances.

Return to Nafplio for another evening in this beautiful historic town.

Day 5 – Pylos & The Palace of Nestor: Discovering Mycenaean Messenia

Travel through the scenic landscapes of the Peloponnese toward the region of Messenia, known for its unspoiled coastline, olive groves, and rich history.

Visit the Palace of Nestor, one of the best-preserved Mycenaean palaces in Greece and an important archaeological discovery connected to the world described in Homer’s epics.

Continue to the picturesque coastal town of Pylos, located on the historic Bay of Navarino. Enjoy the charming waterfront, traditional architecture, and relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful seaside destination.

Day 6 – Voidokilia Beach & The Landscapes of Homer’s Odyssey

Experience one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in Greece with a visit to Voidokilia Beach, a breathtaking crescent-shaped bay surrounded by dunes and ancient history.

The area is closely connected with Homeric legends and has been featured as a filming location inspired by The Odyssey.

Explore Nestor’s Cave, located above the bay and associated with ancient mythology, while enjoying panoramic views over the Ionian coastline.

During the warmer months, there is free time to relax and swim in the crystal-clear waters before continuing your exploration of the Navarino region.

Day 7 – Medieval Castles, Coastal Villages & Kalamata

Continue your journey through the historic landscapes of Messenia with visits to two impressive coastal fortresses.

Explore Methoni Castle, one of the largest and most remarkable Venetian castles in Greece, built to protect important maritime trade routes.

Continue to Koroni Castle, a historic fortress town overlooking the Messinian Gulf, known for its charming streets, traditional atmosphere, and beautiful coastal views.

Your journey continues to Kalamata, the vibrant capital of Messenia. Discover the historic center, explore the waterfront, and enjoy a farewell dinner celebrating the experiences and memories of your Peloponnesian adventure.

Day 8 – Departure or Continue Your Greek Island Adventure

After breakfast, transfer back to Athens International Airport.

Depending on your travel plans, continue your journey home or extend your Greek experience with a relaxing island escape. The Peloponnese can be combined perfectly with the Greek Islands, offering the ideal combination of ancient history, authentic culture, and Mediterranean beaches.
