Day 1: Arrival in Athens
• Arrival & Transfer: Upon arriving in Athens, your driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax or explore the vibrant surroundings at your leisure.
• Welcome Dinner: In the evening, join the group for a welcome dinner. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet, share travel stories, and get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
• Overnight: Athens.
Day 2: Athens – City Highlights & Food Tour
• Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic tour of Athens, where you’ll explore the Acropolis and its ancient monuments with a licensed guide. This half-day tour will dive into the rich history and cultural significance of Athens.
• Afternoon: Embark on a food tour that introduces you to the flavors of Greece. Start at a local deli, sampling olive oil, cheeses, and other products, followed by a shared meal of meze. Wander through some of the city’s most popular districts and visit a family-run restaurant to experience authentic Greek cuisine, ending with a taste of local desserts.
• Overnight: Athens.
Day 3: Athens to Nafplion – Corinth Canal & Nemea Wine Tasting
• Morning: After breakfast, depart for Nafplion with a stop at the Corinth Canal. Marvel at this engineering feat and take in the scenic views.
• Midday: Head to the Nemea wine region for a tour of a local winery. Learn about the history of Greek winemaking and enjoy a wine tasting paired with lunch.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Nafplion and check into your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore the town’s charming streets, historic squares, and Venetian architecture.
• Optional Activity: Visit the seaside village of Tolo in the evening, where you can explore or have dinner at a local taverna (at your own cost).
• Overnight: Nafplion.
Day 4: Nafplion – Optional Mycenae & Cooking Class
• Morning: Start your day with an optional excursion to the ancient site of Mycenae, where you can explore the ruins of this once-powerful kingdom (entrance fees and guide available on the spot).
• Midday: Return to Nafplion for a hands-on cooking class. Under the guidance of a local chef, you’ll learn to prepare traditional Greek dishes using fresh, local ingredients. Enjoy the fruits of your labor in a shared meal with your group.
• Evening: Enjoy a leisurely evening strolling the promenade along Nafplion’s seafront. For a perfect end to the day, visit a seaside seafood taverna to enjoy fresh seafood and beautiful views (dinner at your own cost).
• Overnight: Nafplion.
Day 5: Nafplion to Kalamata – Culinary Workshops & Free Time
• Morning: After breakfast, depart for Kalamata with a brief stop for panoramic photos of Nafplion. Continue to Arcadia, where you’ll participate in a workshop on making traditional Greek pies & Pasta . Learn how to create these savory delights while also discovering the region’s herbs and honey.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Kalamata, where the rest of the day is free for you to explore at your own pace. Visit the old town, walk along the seaside, or enjoy some local cafés.
• Overnight: Kalamata.
Day 6: Kalamata – Optional Kardamili Visit & Food Tour
• Morning: Take an optional excursion to the picturesque village of Kardamili, known for its stone architecture and scenic surroundings. Explore the town or relax by the sea.
• Afternoon: Return to Kalamata for a food tour, where you’ll taste local specialties like olives, cheeses, and sweets. Immerse yourself in the region’s culinary heritage as you wander through the bustling markets.
• Evening: Stroll along the promenade, mingling with the locals and enjoying the sunset.
• Overnight: Kalamata.
Day 7: Kalamata to Athens – Seaside Village & Farewell Wine Tour
• Morning: After breakfast, begin your journey back to Athens. On the way, stop in Loutra Oraias Elenis, a charming seaside village where you can enjoy a coffee or lunch by the water (at your own cost).
• Afternoon: Upon arriving in Athens, check into your hotel and take the rest of the afternoon to shop for souvenirs or explore any remaining sights.
• Evening: In the evening, join a farewell wine and spirits tour. This experience will take you on a journey through Greece’s unique wines and spirits, offering an “island hopping of taste” as you sample different drinks from across the country.
• Overnight: Athens.
Day 8: Departure
• Transfer: Your driver will meet you at your hotel for your transfer to Athens International Airport.
• Optional Extension: If you’d like to extend your stay in Greece, consider a visit to one of the beautiful islands such as Santorini or Mykonos. Contact your travel consultant for extension options.

A reservation is not considered confirmed until a deposit is received. Final payment must be received at least 60 days prior to arrival date. Payments are accepted by credit card (MasterCard, Visa) and bank transfer
Modification and Cancellation Policy: Cancellation fees for land packages including Hotels
Travel documents and identification: All participants are required to carry a valid passport and visa (if required). Failure to obtain valid travel documents does not entitle the passenger to cancellation or refund. Passengers are responsible for obtaining the required travel documents. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that the names listed on the itinerary and other travel documents exactly match the first, middle and last name in their passport
