13 Days Athens-Nafplion-Delfi-Meteora-Volos-Skopelos-Skiathos

Day 1: Arrival in Athens

Upon arrival in Athens, our assistant will greet you at the airport. Your personal driver will then take you to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy some rest, then embark on a food tour to savor local delicacies.

Day 2: Athens Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, take a half-day tour of Athens to explore iconic sites like the Academy of Athens, Greek Parliament, Hadrian’s Arch, and the Acropolis. Visit the Acropolis Museum and end the tour at the Acropolis itself.

Day 3: Athens to Nafplion

After breakfast, your english speaking driver will escort you for the rest of the main land destinations, fist one is Nafplion, stopping briefly at the Corinth Canal. Once in Nafplion, check in and at your leisure explore the charming old town, with its neoclassical buildings and narrow streets. Enjoy dinner at a seaside restaurant near the harbor.

Day 4: Nafplion Food Tour

Immerse yourself in Greek gastronomy by tasting local cheeses, cured meats, and olive oil. Indulge in a lunch featuring regional specialties and finish with traditional Greek coffee and loukoumades. Spend the evening strolling around the town or relaxing at a café.

Day 5: Nafplion to Delphi

After breakfast, depart for Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s about a 2.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, check in and at your leisure head to the archaeological site. Explore the Temple of Apollo, ancient theater, and stadium. In the late afternoon, take a walk through the town and enjoy a Greek meal at a local taverna.

Day 6: Delphi to Meteora

Leave Delphi and head to Meteora, about 3.5 hours away. Meteora is famous for its monasteries perched on rock formations. After check-in, at your leisure visit some of the monasteries. The Great Meteoron Monastery and Varlaam Monastery are the most popular. In the evening, have a peaceful dinner in Kalambaka, the town at the foot of Meteora.

Day 7: Meteora to Volos

After exploring Meteora, drive to Volos, a port city about 2 hours away. Volos is known for its seafood and views of Mount Pelion. Check in at your hotel and at your leisure explore the lively waterfront area. In the evening, enjoy seafood at a restaurant by the water, tasting local dishes like “boubara” (meatballs) and fresh fish.

Day 8: Volos to Skopelos

Take a ferry from Volos to Skopelos in the morning. The ride lasts around 2 hours. Once on the island, check into your accommodation and at your leisure start exploring Skopelos Town. Known for its lush hills and clear waters, the town has beautiful whitewashed houses. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a traditional taverna with a view of the sunset.

Day 9: Skopelos Island Tour

Spend the day exploring Skopelos’ beauty. Visit the Agios Ioannis Chapel, perched on a hill with stunning views. It was featured in the movie Mamma Mia. Afterward, relax at Panormos or Stafilos beach. In the evening, enjoy a seaside dinner with local dishes, such as Skopelos cheese pie or grilled fish.

Day 10: Skopelos to Skiathos

In the morning, take a short ferry to Skiathos, another beautiful island. Upon arrival, check in and start at your leisure exploring Skiathos Town. Wander through narrow streets, lively squares, and waterfront cafes. Visit the Bourtzi Fortress for panoramic views. Spend the evening enjoying seafood at a harborside taverna.

Day 11: Skiathos Island Wine Tour

Today, visit Skiathos’ modern winery. Learn about the wine production process and the unique characteristics of local grape varieties. Tour the vineyard and bottling areas, then enjoy a wine tasting with a view of Skiathos’ port. In the evening, return to Skiathos Town for dinner by the water, watching the sunset.

Day 12: Skiathos to Athens

Take a morning ferry back to Athens. Once you arrive, your driver will take you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring more of the city at your leisure.

Day 13: Departure from Athens

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Athens International Airport. Your Greek adventure comes to a close with fond memories.
