11 Days Athens – Santorini – Crete

Day 1 – Arrival in Athens

Upon your arrival in Athens, our assistant will be waiting to greet you at the airport. They will answer any questions you may have. Next, your personal driver will take you to your hotel for check-in. You can then enjoy some well-deserved rest. In the afternoon, begin exploring the city at your own pace. Be sure to look up and marvel at the Acropolis, standing proudly in the heart of Athens.

Day 2 – Athens Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll embark on a half-day sightseeing tour. This tour is a must for any first-time visitor to Athens. It will introduce you to the city’s most iconic sites, such as the Academy of Athens, the Greek Parliament, and Hadrian’s Arch. You’ll also see the traditional Evzonoi guards. Of course, no visit is complete without a trip to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. Your tour will end at this awe-inspiring site.

Day 3 – Arrival in Santorini

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the port for your ferry ride to Santorini. As the island approaches, prepare for breathtaking views of Fira. It is perched on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the turquoise waters of the caldera. Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the port and take you to your hotel. Afterward, you can unwind and begin exploring the island at your own pace.

Days 4 & 5 – Explore Santorini

Santorini’s dramatic beauty will captivate you at every turn. From golden sunsets over the caldera to colorful volcanic beaches, the island is a feast for the senses. Spend your days relaxing on the southern beaches—Vlychada, Red Beach, and Black Beach. Alternatively, immerse yourself in history at the ancient Minoan settlement of Akrotiri. Later, head to Fira or Oia to sample local delicacies, accompanied by Santorini’s famed wines. For a truly unforgettable experience, consider a sunset sailing tour. Visit key sites, followed by a delicious dinner on board.

Day 6 – Arrival in Crete

You’ll be transferred to the port for your ferry to Crete. Upon arrival in Heraklion, the island’s largest city, your driver will take you to your hotel. With Heraklion’s vibrant food scene nearby, dive straight into a culinary adventure. Whether you indulge in a meal at a local taverna or visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos, your Crete experience will begin on an exciting note!

Day 7 – Drive to Chania

With your rental car, you’ll have the freedom to explore Crete at your own pace. Head west to the charming town of Chania, stopping in Rethymno for brunch. Rethymno is a perfect blend of Cretan, Venetian, and Ottoman architecture. It’s a great spot to stretch your legs before continuing your scenic drive. In Chania, wander through its winding alleys, enjoy the vibrant Old Harbor, and savor a traditional Cretan dinner by the sea.

Days 8 & 9 – Explore West Crete

You’ll have two full days to explore West Crete. Start with a hike through the stunning Samaria Gorge. Then, take a refreshing swim at Elafonisi beach. Discover the azure waters of Balos Lagoon next. The island’s picturesque villages, such as Sfakia, and the tranquil lake of Kournas are also worth visiting. The western coast of Crete is full of dramatic landscapes and untouched beauty—make the most of it!

Day 10 – Return to Athens

After an unforgettable time in Crete, transfer from your hotel to Heraklion Airport for your flight back to Athens. Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting to take you to your Athens hotel. With one last evening in Greece, take a stroll through Plaka or Ermou Street. Enjoy some last-minute shopping or a farewell dinner.

Day 11 – Departure from Athens

After your memorable Greek adventure, our assistant will meet you at your hotel. They will transfer you to Athens International Airport for your departure flight.
